To secure a boarding space at Valhalla Equine (VE), the following requirements must be met no less than 7 days before your horse’s arrival:

  1. Boarding Agreement & Terms: Boarding contracts at VER are on a month-to-month basis. All required paperwork must be completed, signed, and submitted before arrival.

  2. Proof of Health:

    • If arriving from out of state, a health certificate and a negative Coggins test are required.

    • All horses must have current veterinary records confirming they are up to date on vaccinations and worming.

  3. Deposit & Payment: The required deposit consists of first and last month’s board. This deposit will be applied appropriately, with the last month’s board being used upon termination of the boarding agreement. A 30-day written notice is required to terminate the agreement and apply the last month’s board. If the deposit is not received at least 7 days before arrival, VER reserves the right to forfeit the reservation and offer the spot to a waitlisted boarder.

Failure to meet these requirements may result in the cancellation of your horse’s boarding arrangement. All paperwork is linked in the buttons listed at the end of our website.

  • Onsite Trainer

Sandy began raising, training and marketing her own horses while ranching in Bishop, California. The ranching life led to several years of successfully competing in the NRCHA as a Non-Pro.

Ultimately, Reining became her focus and as a Non-Pro, Sandy was a multi-time Finalist in premier events such as the NRHA Futurity, NRHA Derby and the NRBC.

With a move to Southern Oregon, Sandy’s passion for training and showing continued as did her desire to share her passion. Now training and teaching Professionally, Sandy shares her energy, skills and love for the horse, the competitor, and the growth and development of both.

“I have over 35 years of experience in the horse industry, ranging from stallion management, breeding, foaling, marketing, training and showing in numerous disciplines. I am dedicated to the training of the horse and rider for the sport of Reining. I put the horse on a very high priority level for its well-being, health and soundness. Helping the horse and rider become a team is of the upmost importance. Choosing a goal that is both achievable and challenging for both the horse and the rider is a must. Allow me to help you reach your future goals!”
